An X account titled Sneako Updates, known for sharing news about the titular Rumble streamer, has claimed that Pokimane's legal representatives sent them a cease and desist letter. @Sneak0o, or Sneako Updates, shared a screenshot of an email calling them on to take down a post dated July 19.

In the post, a voice note featuring an AI-generated voice of Pokimane could be heard talking to Sneako and using the racial n-word slur. The clip garnered a lot of traction on social media, with many falling for the mimicry.

According to the aforementioned post, Pokimane is taking legal action against Sneako Updates for sharing the AI-generated voice note. In the screenshot shared by the X user, legal representatives of the Canadian Twitch streamer demanded that Sneako Updates remove the voice note in question and confirm that they will comply by July 27 unless they want to risk a defamation lawsuit.

Fake Pokimane-AI voice note using racial slur against Sneako explored in the wake of alleged legal action

Sneako and Pokimane have clashed online in the past where he accused the latter of baiting her fans and viewers with inappropriate behavior. Sneako is known for his controversial views on women. Consequently, the fake voice note calling him out caught the attention of netizens when the Updates account posted it on X.

The AI-generated voice note of Pokimane called Sneako out and used the offensive n-word slur:

"They (fans) respect me and I love them for it. So, I would appreciate if you stopped reacting to my content. You black piece of sh**. N****r. You're a f**king fa***t, and I'll f**king beat you in a fight any day!"

The post was quickly debunked to be false, with a community note being affixed to it which reads:

"this voice note is completely fake and AI generated. sneako never revealed that pokimane sent him such dms (check his socials for verification)"

As it stands, the clip is still very much live on X. And according to the screenshot shared by X user Sneako Updates, Pokimane's lawyers are not happy as it falsely portrays her as a person who called Sneako the n-word, therefore justifying the existence of the clip on the internet as defamatory to her image.

Readers should note that neither of the streaming personalities has addressed the post.
