Twitch streamer and YouTuber Imane "Pokimane" has opened up on her dating life during a recent (August 18) YouTube video titled pov: it’s hot girl summer (workout routine, work drama, otv cafe). Back in July 2024, the former OTV member revealed that she was going through a break-up. However, it appears that she is ready to explore her options.

The streamer talked about a dating app called "Raya," which she describes as an exclusive club. Pokimane said that the app might be her "best shot" at finding a potentially good partner. Here's what she said:

"There is this dating app called Raya and the whole premise of Raya is that you have to apply. It's supposed to be a really exclusive dating app with celebrities. So you have to be accepted into the app which I think is so cringe. But is it also potentially my best shot at meeting someone half-decent? Kind of."

"They took two months to respond to my applications" - Pokimane speaks on exploring a new dating app

Pokimane recently discussed her dating life in a YouTube video, revealing that she has been exploring a new app called Raya. For those unfamiliar, Raya is a membership-based platform. Speaking about her application, which got "waitlisted," the streamer said:

"Two, three months ago I applied and they took two months to respond to my applications. So I go on the app and they're like, 'We have an answer for you.' So I'm like, 'Let's f**king go.' I click the button and it goes, 'You've been waitlisted. We check our waitlist often and will give you an update soon'."

Seeing herself get waitlisted, the streamer said:

"I said, 'B*tch what do you mean?' and I'm not even saying like, 'Oh I'm so fine.' I'm shocked you made me wait two months only to waitlist me. Maybe I'm not that fine and famous but I'm not bad. So now I'm kind of mad. Now, out of sheer pettiness, I don't wanna f**king use it. You didn't want me, I don't want you"

Despite expressing some frustration over the apparent waitlist, Pokimane mentioned that she isn’t too "pressed" about the situation and is happy with the progress she has made "focusing" on herself.
