Hasan "HasanAbi," a popular political Twitch streamer, has responded to misogyny allegations made against him. During a livestream on January 5, 2025, the Turkish-American personality reacted to TikToker @sistaseparatist's video captioned, "Hassan Piker and The Misogyny of Leftist Males," advocating for HasanAbi's "downfall."
While accusing the content creator of misogyny, the TikToker remarked:
"I need Hasan's downfall to be swift and thorough. So, I've talked extensively about how leftist men contribute to a misogynistic social climate. I've also talked about how they actively work to keep women out of politics. I think Hasan Piker is a great example of this. He contributed a great deal to the mocking of Amber Heard's testimony and now he's doing the same thing to Blake Lively."
HasanAbi burst out laughing after hearing this and responded:
"It's true. I did. It was me. I'm the one who did it. Everyone else was actually firmly committed to Amber Heard, and then I posted about one time on Twitter how her fit was giving Mao Zedong, comparing her to a man, although I do like Mao Zedong, and also have the same fit. That was the pivotal turn, when everyone went (the streamer snaps his fingers)."
Furthermore, the Twitch streamer claimed that people have "no concept of the world outside the horse-blinders," adding that he "barely covered" Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's court case:
"I think people have no concept of the world outside of the horse-blinders that they put on. I do wish that I just ripped into Amber Heard now, though. I really do, and it's not even... because I would've gotten so much clout! Like, I would've gotten endless amounts of clouts off of that! So much clout! Like, I barely even touched that. I barely covered it at a time when there was so much going on!"

HasanAbi brings up his opinions on Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard court case while responding to misogyny allegations
At the six-hour-38-minute of the Twitch livestream, HasanAbi noticed a live viewer who asked if TikToker @sistaseparatist confused him with Zack "Asmongold." In response, the 33-year-old said:
"Is she confusing me with Asmongold? No! Asmongold had 450,000 live viewers covering every second of that trial, and these people literally think I covered the trial extensively. I think I covered it twice. And even then, my take wasn't like, 'I love Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is a bed-pooper,' or something like that. It was that, 'I'm not entirely...'"
A few moments later, HasanAbi addressed the "discourse" surrounding his views on the celebrity trial, claiming that "everyone just jumped on it."
