PowerWash Simulator devs respond to a joke about Asmongold's room getting added as an expansion

After a satirical joke about a PowerWash Simulator expansion featuring Twitch streamer Asmongold's room went viral on social media, the developers of the popular simulation game have responded claiming that their equipment wouldn't be able to handle the job.

For context, Asmongold is notorious for living in poor conditions with viewers and fellow streamers frequently taking a dig at the state of his room and his house despite being such a successful content creator. Even his own organization OTK regularly trolls him for the state of his room.

Earlier this year, the Twitch star's father roasted the way his son lived, describing the state of his room as a "sh*thole."

"Not sure we'd have the equipment": PowerWash Simulator developers claim they cannot handle Asmongold's filthy room

As the game's name implies, the PowerWash Simulator puts the player in the shoes of a powerwasher tasked with cleaning out different environments. The game has released several DLCs since arriving back in 2022 with levels including crossovers with other franchises such as Warhammer 40K, SpongeBob Squarepants, and an upcoming Shrek-themed expansion.

Considering how well-known Asmongold's room is for being dirty and unkept, a joke about a hypothetical collaboration between the Twitch streamer and PowerWash Simulator naturally went viral after it was shared by the satirical website Pallete Swap, garnering millions of impressions on X.

This led the official dev team for the game to respond on social media, who continued the joke and stated:

"I’m not sure we’d have the equipment to handle this one", wrote @PowerWashSim

While Asmongold himself has not yet responded to the premise of his room being added to PowerWash Simulator, this isn't the first time that the streamer's house has been linked with a video game. Last month, a viewer who goes by the online alias NeroExperiment released a free-to-play horror game, House of Torment, based on his home.

Based on how happy the streamer was with the game, it is a reasonable guess that Asmongold will find the PowerWash Simulator joke quite amusing.
