Twitch streamer Blaire "QTCinderella" has responded to some recent criticism surrounding the nominations for her upcoming event, the Streamer Awards 2024. For those out of the loop, the annual streaming award show is set to return next month (December 7, 2024). However, with each category having four nominees, a lot of creators have missed out, leaving their fans upset.
Some fans even took to X to criticize the event, especially after the nominations were revealed. However, QTCinderella was quick to respond to the critics, stating that the award show was intended to "cultivate more positivity." She wrote:
"The Streamer Awards is about bringing everyone together to cultivate more positivity. If you choose to spend your time in the rhetoric of negativity, 'They didn’t deserve the nomination,' 'They’re going to lose,' etc. Don’t watch the show it’s not for you."
QTCinderella also responded to a user, who insisted that OTK member Emily "Emiru" didn't deserve the Streamer of the Year nomination since she is not likely to win, stating:
"She had an insane year. She is an incredible streamer. You’re already replying with negativity it’s insane."
"You need to be put in prison" - Lacy reacts to missing out on Streamer Awards nomination
FaZe Clan member Nick "Lacy" also responded to his omission from a specific category. While he received a nomination for the Best IRL Streamer, he believed that he should have been nominated for the Best Breakout Streamer category as well.
Reacting to QTCinderella's upcoming event and the nominations, he said:
"QTCinderella, I love you. I think you are an amazing human being, you're so kind, you're a great streamer, and you do a lot for this community. But I think you need to be put in prison for 8-10 years for robbery. I got f**king robbed. Are you serious? No one knew who I was at the start of 2024."
It's worth noting that Lacy is often known for his clickbait-worthy reactions. In response to his comment, QTCinderella humorously remarked:
"'No one knew who I was at the start of 2024. NOBODY' Lil bro they still don't."
The Streamer Awards 2024 is set to be live-streamed on December 7, 2024, on QTCinderella's Twitch channel. Popular streamers Darren "IShowSpeed" and Kai Cenat are also among the other nominees at the event.
