Twitch streamer Blaire "QTCinderella" has revealed that a sponsor backed out of funding The Streamer Awards 2024 because of a nominee. The content creator appeared as a guest on YouTube Gaming star Rachell "Valkyrae's" Press ESC podcast's most recent episode.

At one point during their conversation, QTCinderella discussed the profitability of her annual awards ceremony. According to the Los Angeles-based personality, The Streamer Awards were "almost profitable" this year. However, a sponsor backed out of the event at the "last second":

"I don't like talking about it because people pick it apart, and they'll be like, 'How are you spending that much?' And I'm like, 'B**ch, I've been doing this for years. I know good deals and not.' But, anyway, it is not profitable yet. It was almost profitable this year... well, a sponsor pulled out last second. It was the first year that it was almost profitable, but they pulled out last second. I was so sad."

Valkyrae was taken aback after hearing this and wanted to know who the sponsor was:

"Last second is disgusting! Please tell me who it was, so I can never work with them again."

In response, QTCinderella stated that Valkyrae would still like to work with the company. However, while she revealed who the sponsor was and which content creator's inclusion in The Streamer Awards 2024 led to their withdrawal, the Press ESC podcast muted what the 30-year-old revealed:

"You'll still want to. But we can bleep it. (Bleep) because of (bleep) because he was nominated. Anyway."

Upon hearing this, Valkyrae said:

"Cut all of that."

"Why did they even leave this in the podcast?" - Destiny reacts to QTCinderella revealing that a sponsor backed out of The Streamer Awards 2024

Kick streamer Steven "Destiny" has chimed in with his thoughts on QTCinderella's revelation about a sponsor pulling out of The Streamer Awards 2024. The indefinitely banned Twitch personality stated:

"Can I just say how irritating it is that how... why did they even leave this in the podcast? How blatantly performative that was? Like, 'I don't ever want to work with that sponsor again. Wait, hold on, this would actually be something that actually be a sacrifice,' and then like, 'Never mind, sorry. I didn't know that was an actual, real thing I would have to sacrifice.' Okay, so cringe!"

On December 17, 2024, Herschel "Guy," aka "Dr DisRespect," made headlines when he called QTCinderella "talentless" in response to her remarks about him at The Streamer Awards 2024.
