Popular Kick streamers Adin Ross and Felix "xQc" have made some bold claims about the controversy involving Herschel "Guy," aka "Dr DisRespect." For context, on June 25, 2024, The Doc provided details about his mysterious Twitch ban and admitted to contacting a minor via the Twitch Whispers feature.
During a Kick broadcast earlier today (August 4, 2024), Adin Ross asked xQc whether he was interested in knowing some information. He then admitted that he had been aware of Dr DisResepect's situation "for years." However, he wasn't able to disclose why he hadn't spoken about it:
"You want to know some s**t? (xQc responds, 'What?') So, I was talking to Speed [IShowSpeed] today. You know I knew about the Dr DisRespect s**t, like, for years. Right? You know, too, right? I can't say why either. But I knew..."
In response, the former Overwatch pro told Adin Ross to mute the livestream:
"I have known, too. But I can't say why. Wait, hold on. Mute!"
The Florida native decided not to mute their conversation, claiming it "wasn't worth it." He elaborated:
"Nah, it's not worth it unless we talk about all that s**t. Probably, yeah. But, I didn't believe it. I didn't f**king believe it was true, but it was crazy, bro. S**t is really, really, you know, real. It's crazy."
Adin Ross' attention was drawn to his live viewers, some of whom expressed their displeasure about him not saying anything. In response, the Kick streamer called a fan "weirdo," remarking that Dr DisRespect's situation was "under investigation":
"'And you didn't even say anything.' Hey, weirdo! Like, I knew... dude... like, you guys. It was under a whole investigation, bro. Bro, nah."
To this, xQc added a simple statement:
"It's not like that."

On July 23, 2024, Adin Ross returned from a several-months-long hiatus and compared the alleged grooming controversy involving Ava Kris Tyson to that of Dr DisRespect. According to him, there was "more proof" against the former Jimmy "MrBeast" crew member than the "Two-Time Champ":
"If somebody is being called out for being a f**king pedophile, they're a f**king pedophile! And, there was more proof on Kris than there was on Dr DisRespect! Like, come on, I'm not defending Dr DisRespect. He's a pedophile, too. But I'm just saying!"
In other news, on August 3, 2024, Adin Ross claimed he could be sued for $10 million, sparking speculation among netizens that the streamer's former security personnel, Ant, was supposedly suing him.
