What is the recent controversy involving HateCaps and Konvy?

Twitch streamer HateCaps made headlines yesterday (August 15) due to his feud with fellow streamer Steven "Konvy." It was alleged that HateCaps "scammed" thousands of dollars from Konvy, which infuriated the latter.

During Konvy's stream, he was seen placing for a hit on HateCaps (insinuating that he could be killed) and even doxxed his address live on air. This led to Konvy being banned from the platform as it had violated its Terms of Service (ToS). For those wondering, during his call with Justxsnagz, he said:

"Imma need you (Justxsnagz) to go rob them, take all their clothes, and make them have no clothes on. Embarrass them, stab them, I don't give a f**k. You could kill them ni**a."

Following this controversy, HateCaps began receiving bizarre calls on his phone, which were visible during his stream. His IRL stream also went viral when he was seen being chased by a stranger (possibly a stream sniper).

Although it wasn't clear if the stranger was provoked by Konvy's controversial statements, the clip still caused a significant stir online yesterday.

At this point, it's not confirmed whether today's clip of HateCaps being attacked by a group is connected to his feud with Konvy. Some fans have suggested it may have been scripted. Further updates regarding the situation should be shared by them soon.
