Twitch and Kick star Felix "xQc" has implied that AMP members are hateful towards the LGBTQ+ community. During a Kick livestream on January 4, 2025, xQc discovered a video of AMP employee Markus King claiming that Adin Ross would bring "toxic" elements to Twitch if unbanned from the platform.
Here's what Markus King said:
"The thing I don't like, and what I'm nervous about, if Adin Ross brings all of the toxic a** n****s to Twitch, bro, he's gonna open the floodgates to a**holes, racists."
xQc seemed to disagree with King's opinions and "challenged" his followers to watch AMP members' content whenever a gay or transgender individual appears.
He elaborated:
"Like, some of the W streamers communities are not f**king hateful. Brother, I challenge you to go watch any VOD (video on demand) of any AMP members, where some guy is potentially gay or a trans on screen, and look at the streamer and the chat's reaction. Maybe, you're going to reconnect with the current reality that is, like, what's going on. I think you're not living in reality. You live in this fake world where, 'We're not hateful, these things aren't hateful, but these guys are really hateful.' Come on, brother!"
xQc then used Twitch streamer Kylie "Sketch" as an example, claiming controversy surrounding him was "one of the most eye-opening things" he had ever seen:
"The Sketch event was one of the most eye-opening things I have ever seen. Hey, even the people that were on his side or whatever, right? They were like, 'Guys, now it's chill!' Like, 'He's chill, guys!' Like, 'I'm speaking for us.' Bro, listen, you don't need to tell anybody that anybody's chill or whatever because they're gay or did gay actions. It's not something you have to be, like, you have to be redeemed from. Does that make sense? I'm not coping, that's how it is."
xQc says he would be "cast out" if he gives his "true take" on AMP members
During the same Kick broadcast, xQc spoke up about his "true take" on AMP members. While describing the situation as "unfortunate," the Quebec native stated that he would be "cast out" if he expressed his views on the streamer collective:
"Guys, it's unfortunate, but now I feel like I have a true take about anybody AMP, I'm automatically cast out or whatever because of one instance of, 'We don't know if it's banter or not,' or whatever. Right? So, I look bad. Now it's like, if I have a normal take or whatever, I'm on everybody's bad side now."
In other news, Felix recently responded to Kai Cenat's concerns about X Communities' negative impact on streamers.
