American rapper and singer Lil Tjay is currently involved in a controversy with FaZe Clan member and streamer Max "Plaqueboymax." For context, Tjay and Fivio Foreign were recently invited to join the streamer on his Airbnb. At one point, the duo started to smoke inside the crib. However, Max didn't appreciate this and requested them to refrain from smoking to prevent the fire alarm from being activated:
"Yo Tjay, it's a Bnb, you can't smoke here. This s**t (fire alarm) gonna go off. I appreciate you though."

The rappers later left the Airbnb. Tjay, in particular, was upset at Max asking him to stop smoking. During a conversation with DDG, American YouTuber and rapper, Tjay ended up making some threatening remarks to the streamer:
"I've been to jail, bro. I was a felon at 13. I don't know who these ni**as think Tjay is. 'Excuse me, appreciated.' What type of reaction do you think you gonna get from now, gang? You think you're my mother, bro? For real, ni***s slap the s**t out of you."

A new drama has emerged in the streaming scene involving rapper Lil Tjay and FaZe Clan member Plaqueboymax. After the former was asked to quit smoking, he became upset and directed his frustration toward the latter. Addressing the drama, the rapper said:
"Plaqueboymax, no disrespect, I deada** didn't know you, I deada** never heard of you. I pulled up with Fivio. Everywhere I go, I be smoking. I'll pay the fine. How much this s**t cost?...I don't even deal with ni**as like that. I don't know who you are."
