One of the internet's most cancelled creators Nico "Sneako" is set to make a surprising return to Twitch. For those unaware, Nico was banned from the Amazon-owned platform nearly two years ago. While he wasn't a regular on the platform, being unbanned there was certainly a pleasant surprise for him. The streamer wrote this on his X.com account:
"After 2 years and only 1 stream, I have been unbanned on twitch. Thank you. Adin Ross next?"
During this period, Sneako's primary streaming platform was (still is) Rumble. However, now that he can stream on the Amazon-owned platform, he also announced his plans to start "cross-streaming."
For those unfamiliar with the term, "cross-streaming" typically means that a creator broadcasts their content on more than one platform at a time. Creators like Tyler "Ninja" have already walked on a similar path.
"I want to do it the right way" - Sneako reveals plans for streaming on both Rumble and Twitch
Controversial streamer Sneako has announced plans to expand his broadcasting projects to not just one, but two platforms. Currently, he exclusively streams on Rumble. However, now that his ban on Twitch has been lifted, he is considering the possibility of cross-streaming on both platforms. He said:
"I did speak to Chris (Chris Pavlovski, CEO of Rumble) about it (plans to stream on both platforms) and I wanna start cross-streaming. I wanna do it the right way. But I wanted to verify because I am a loyal Rumble streamer. You guys know that. I have been here for two years now. It's been a long time I have been on this website."
He added:
"I'm not gonna leave, and I love this place (Rumble) but I do wanna start cross-streaming. Elon Musk has been talking about cross-streaming on X and now that I am unbanned on Twitch (I can stream there)."
He revealed that he got the green signal from the CEO of Rumble regarding his plans. He said:
"That's the big announcement. I got the clear. I have been speaking to the CEO and we're gonna figure out how to do that. You can cross-stream. Fresh and Fit cross-streams on Twitch and Akademiks does it too."
Sneako is also banned on YouTube, which was his primary streaming platform before he moved to Rumble permanently. However, with a new avenue (Twitch) now open to him, he is ready to explore this opportunity.
