Rapper and internet personality Calvin "Snoop Dogg" is all set for a December album release. The rapper's discography spans over thirty years since the release of Doggystyle back in 1993. Twitch streamer Kai Cenat on the other hand is currently on a streaming marathon, titled the "Mafiathon", and there is a possibility the rapper and the streamer collaborate during this event.
Kicked off on November 2, 2024, this is Cenat's second rendition of the Mafiathon. The streamer received an unexpected call from Snoop Dogg. During the interaction, the rapper suggests a collaboration is due, especially because of the upcoming album release.
"We got some sh*t to do": Snoop Dogg sends Kai Cenat a video, planning a collaboration stream
Snoop Dogg's latest album, Missionary, comes in collaboration with Dr. Dre and is set to arrive on December 13, 2024. The album, intended as a tribute to Snoop’s iconic 1993 debut Doggystyle, revisits the original vibe with a mature twist.
Cenat and Snoop interacted previously at the Video Music Awards (VMAs) in September 2024 and perhaps as part of the rollout of his latest LP, the rapper reached out to Cenat to promote the release:
"Now I got something special for me and you, my album come out December 13, I don't know what we gon' do. But I need to come to you and spend a night and take over your sh*t. Let's talk in the morning cuz, we got some sh*t to do ni**a."
Kai Cenat has made significant waves in the streaming world through his dynamic collaborations with various rappers. He has hosted notable livestreams featuring stars like 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, G Herbo, and Offset.
Most recently, Cenat collaborated with hip-hop artist Lil Uzi Vert, following the release of Eternal Atake 2 — the latter's fourth full-length studio album. The two played off each other well, creating a chemistry that millions of fans tuned in to watch. Lil Uzi reacted to AMP's 2024 rap cypher, walked around Cenat's Mafiathon mansion, and even performed songs from his latest album.
In other news, Kai Cenat announced that 20% of the revenue generated from Mafiathon 2 will be dedicated to building schools in Nigeria.
