Sodapoppin calls out Asmongold for giving "bulls**t excuse" for not joining his World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore guild

Popular World of Warcraft (WoW) streamer and OTK member Sodapoppin, recently called out fellow streamer and OTK co-founder Asmongold for not joining his WoW guild Onlyfangs. This is based on an excuse that Asmon's viewers would ruin the gameplay experience for the rest of the guild, which comprised streamers like Emiru, xQc, Pokimane, Esfand, and Fandy.

In a stream on August 7, 2024, Soda was playing WoW when he was suggested he should invite Asmongold to play with the Onlyfangs members. He recollected that Asmon had previously declined the offer to play because of "his viewers," and Soda felt this reason wasn't good enough.

"I gotta ask Asmon and see if he wants to play Onlyfangs this time. I remember he said he didn't want to play because he thought he'd ruin it for everyone because of his viewers. That to me was a bulls**t excuse."

Essentially, Sodapoppin claimed that Asmon felt that his viewers would spam the chatbox with too many messages, and this could potentially disrupt gameplay, causing inconvenience for the other streamers involved in the guild.

Asmongold's take on Hardcore World of Warcraft

A user in chat later mentioned that Asmon, who is both a Twitch and WoW veteran, does not like the hardcore difficulty mode that the guild members play in. This is a thought the streamer has expressed multiple times beforehand, saying that playing Hardcore WoW is not an enjoyable experience for him.
