Twitch star Quintin "Quin69" has commented on the World of Warcraft skills of Thomas "Sodapoppin" after his loss in a duel against fellow streamer Tyler1. The duel resulted in Tyler1 being made the new master of the OnlyFangs Hardcore WoW guild, which Sodapoppin originally founded.
During his Twitch broadcast on January 22, 2025, Quin69 said:
"But no, Sodapoppin is f**king washed, dude. I don't know what happened, he used to be good at the game. I don't know if it's his f**king VTuber girlfriend or what the deal is..."
"He straight up failed me": Quin69 comments on Sodapoppin's loss against Tyler1 during their recent duel in OnlyFangs server
OnlyFangs is an invite-only World of Warcraft server, known for being accessible only to streamers or other content creators, including Félix "xQc" and Jason "Pirate Software". Pirate Software has faced backlash after being accused of running away from mobs and abandoning fellow team members while dungeon crawling in-game.
Tyler1 became the guild master of OnlyFangs following the unexpected death of Sodapoppin's level 60 character on December 30, 2024. However, to make things fair, Tyler1 challenged Sodapoppin to a duel once again after he reached level 60 and had equal gear. This duel would end up being the final determinant for the title of guild master and war chief of the OnlyFangs guild.
Discussing Sodapoppin's loss to a relatively inexperienced Tyler1, Quin69 said:
"He straight up failed me, bro. I was a believer... This Tyler1 guy, some League of Legends clown... I made a ridiculous bet of five hundred subs on Sodapoppin thinking that, clearly he was going to win 'cause there's no way. How the f**k would you lose to some guy, like legit, how you going to lose to guy a that's been playing WoW, he's back-pedaling, clicking his f**king keybinds, has no idea what he's doing. Like, I'm telling this guy's been playing for this game for like, what? For like, three months or something? Two! Two months!"
Pirate Software's controversy within OnlyFangs eventually resulted in him being kicked out of the guild entirely, with Sodapoppin addressing the matter through a Discord message.
He claimed that the decision to remove Pirate Software from OnlyFangs was made because a "large majority of people" in the guild feel "uncomfortable" being around the streamer.
