Fortnite streamer Nicholas "Nick Eh 30" has expressed his dissatisfaction with Olajide "JJ," aka "KSI's" latest single, Dirty. On December 16, 2024, a one-minute-30-second video from Nick Eh 30's livestream surfaced on X. In the video, one can see the content creator claim that "everybody can become a singer" if KSI is the "prime example" of being a musician.
He then commented on the Briton's song, Dirty, stating that it was "not it":
"Bro, if KSI is a prime example of what it takes to be a singer, then I think anybody could be a singer, bro. That new song he dropped where he's singing... hey bro, listen, that ain't it. Let me tell you right now! That's just not it. Someone's got to tell him, guys. He's surrounded by yes-men. Someone's got to tell him that is atrocious."
Nick Eh 30 compared the Sidemen member's other song, Thick Of It, to Dirty, saying the latter is "very bad":
"People are like on TikTok, 'Oh, Nick doesn't like the song? That must mean it's good.' It's like, bro, what? Am I using the same year as you guys are using? This is not it! It is a very bad song. And I'll say, he's had some good ones. I like Think Of It. I did. I thought it was actually pretty catchy."
According to the Twitch streamer, Dirty has a "depressed vibe." Nick Eh 30 added that KSI "doesn't have a voice to sing":
"But that song, like, I don't like the very, like... it's got a depressed vibe to it. You know what I mean? Like, that singing. And I'm not a fan of that kind of music. And then, also, I'm not a fan of the way he's trying to sing versus rap. Some people just don't have the voice to sing, bro. Like, I don't have a voice to sing. A lot of people don't have a voice to sing. And, it just feels like he's trying very hard in every single line he sings, in my honest opinion."
What did Nick Eh 30 say about KSI's 'Thick Of It'?
On October 6, 2024, Nick Eh 30 reacted to KSI's Thick Of It on his stream and voiced his admiration for the iconic lyrics where JJ sang:
"From the screen to the ring, to the pen, to the king. Where's my crown? That's my bling. Always drama when I ring."
The Canadian content creator eventually posted an update on X, stating that he "approves" KSI's song.
