Twitch streamer Matthew "Mizkif" has addressed the community after he recently broke down in tears while interacting with fellow content creator Will Neff. In a 38-second video posted on Reddit and X, Mizkif could be seen expressing his gratitude to Will Neff without explaining the situation in greater detail. The One True King (OTK) co-founder then began crying, and Will Neff immediately hugged him.
Mizkif said:
"Will, it's honestly hard for me to compliment you because... I actually can't say. I can't say it. I'm going to cry. I actually can't say it. F**k! I'm not crying for you, though, Cyr."
Will Neff responded:
"Come here, bud. I got you. It's the juice, it's got him all riled up. You don't have to say it."
On September 4, 2024, the content creator took to X and opened up about the situation. He disclosed that Will Neff "saved his life" after things took a dark turn when "people framed" him. He elaborated:
"For those curious, Will saved my life. I was going to kill myself because of what people framed me for, and as I was on my way to do it, Will called me and that call stopped me from ending my life."
What did Mizkif mean when he said "people framed" him? Controversy briefly recapped
In September 2022, Mizkif was embroiled in a major controversy after Tyler "Trainwreckstv" accused him of covering up sexual assaults by sending Maya Higa and Mitch Jones "to the railroad." In a now-deleted X post, the Iranian-American personality wrote:
"Are you going to send Maya and Mitch to railroad and blackmail me, like you did those girls to cover up all those sexual assaults, you f**king scumbag piece of s**t. You want to come at me and make s**t up, then you better be sure you don't live in a glass house, you insecure pu**y."
On September 21, 2022, Twitch streamer AdrianahLee released an old video, in which Mizkif discussed a situation involving his friend CrazySlick:
"What you can deem of it, it's sexual harassment, whatever. At a low scale, it's not really a big deal. I don't think people really gave a s**t, and really cared."
OTK eventually issued a public statement, announcing that the 29-year-old had been "placed on leave" and had stepped away from his "organizational duties." The streamer collective also announced a third-party investigation into the sexual assault allegations.
