Irish YouTuber Seán "Jacksepticeye" recently gave his opinion on FaZe Clan and talked about their presence at the recently held Streamer Awards 2024. A clip uploaded to X showcases the gaming YouTuber talking about how other attendees reacted to FaZe's entry to the award ceremony.
To those unaware, FaZe members had worn matching outfits, consisting of similar sunglasses and white t-shirts with the FaZe Clan branding being spraypainted onto them in various colors. Commenting on how this was perceived by other creators at the event, Jacksepticeye said:
"I like how the FaZe guys showed up and everybody was like, man, they're dressed weird, and they're acting weird, and whatever. Like, they were talking a bit, but honestly, they put in more effort than most of the other people that were there."
However, the streamer then continued to say that he was apathetic to FaZe Clan as a whole and was surprised to see it still exists as an organization with multiple active members:
"Like, I don't really care about FaZe. I'm surprised they're even still an organization. I was surprised to see like, that many people in FaZe still. I just didn't really keep up with it."
"Made it kind of like a spectacle": Jacksepticeye opines on the role played by FaZe Clan in recently held Streamer Awards 2024
The Streamer Awards is an annual event focused on celebrating achievements and outstanding performance by streamers across different categories and parameters. Jacksepticeye previously won the Best Philanthropic Streamer award at the 2022 rendition of the Streamer Awards.
Within the clip, Jacksepticeye could also be heard complimenting the "efforts" put in by the FaZe collective to make the event more entertaining:
"But like, they showed up and put effort into the event and like, made it like, kind of like a spectacle. And some of the people you'd expect to be the loudest were actually some of the most chill."
In other news, FaZe Clan member Rani "Stable Ronaldo" has become the subject of much controversy after appearing to speed away from a police vehicle while broadcasting himself live on Twitch.
