FaZe Rug is the latest esports personality to slam Jack Doherty following his car crash on Kick stream. For those unaware, Doherty has gone viral on social media after he got into an accident that many have claimed occurred because the streamer was using his phone while driving. Furthermore, Jack Doherty has also been accused of showing more concern to the McLaren that he crashed, rather than for his cameraman who was his co-passenger in the car and was bleeding as a result of the accident. While Jack seems to have been permanently banned from Kick, it has not stopped other streamers and content creators from criticizing him.
In a post replying to Doherty, FaZe Rug slammed the former Kick streamer for crashing the car due to distracted driving and accused him of being a terrible human being who was concerned about getting good angles of the accident and not helping his friend:
"Naa.. I never comment on sh** like this but what the f**k? You got into a car crash because you were texting and driving and all you were worried about was your car & making sure you got good angles? Didn’t wanna make sure your friend was good first? Terrible human being," wrote FaZe Rug in a post on X.
Watch: Jack Doherty handed the camera back to his cameraman who was bleeding from his head
Readers should note that the reason for Jack Doherty getting so much backlash over the car crash is twofold. First off, in the full clip that was shared by viewers, the former Kick streamer can be seen using his phone just before the car crashes, leading to many blaming him for not paying attention to the road during bad weather.
Going one step further than FaZe Rug, who called him a terrible human being for allegedly causing the crash, 100 Thieves CEO Nadeshot has called on the police to arrest Jack Doherty.
The second thing that FaZe Rug also claims, is that Doherty's co-passenger, the cameraman, can be clearly seen bleeding profusely from his head after the crash. However, instead of asking him to rest up, Jack Doherty hands back the camera to the injured cameraman named Michael at the one-minute mark of the video above.
Jack even asks Michael to film on another device:
"Michael here (handing him the camera), film on that one too."
Popular Twitch and Kick streamer xQc was outraged after watching the video of the crash, calling Jack Doherty "diabolical" for putting himself and his cameraman's lives in danger.
