UK YouTuber JJ "KSI" has used a rather peculiar method to promote his new song Thick Of It (releasing October 4). The Sidemen member took to his official X.com account to once again target fellow YouTuber Daniel "DanTDM," insinuating that the latter's post criticizing Lunchly (and the subsequent online feud that followed) helped him get "free promo" for his new single.
The UK YouTuber has, however, received heavy backlash due to his seemingly constant tirade against DanTDM. He later decided to remove/delete the X post, where he used a derogatory word on Dan. Online news page Drama Alert (@DramaAlert) shared a screenshot of his post before the deletion. The post read:
"Thanks for the free promo pu**y @DanTDM. DM me your bank details for the payment."
KSI posts fake "apology" following backlash over posts targeting DanTDM
UK YouTuber and influencer KSI has been relentless in defending Lunchly from its critics, with the most prominent being DanTDM, who made a solitary post criticizing the product and accusing it of "selling crap to kids."
Since then, KSI has posted a series of responses targeting DanTDM, including a second-channel video where he called out the YouTuber for accepting sponsorships from other pre-cooked meal box services in some of his past videos.
During this time, KSI has remained unapologetic. He even made a sarcastic post, labeling it as an apology, but in reality, it was just a link to his new song Thick Of It. The post received a Community Note for the antics:
"A lot has happened these past few days online, so here I am addressing everything below…"
The Sidemen member didn't stop there and made another follow-up post to the so-called "apology." He called out the Community Notes, accusing it of "lying." He sarcastically wrote:
"The community note is a straight-up lie. The apology is there. You just have to click the page a few times to get to it. Once again people abusing community notes."
Despite the barrage of posts from KSI, DanTDM has remained silent following his initial post criticizing Lunchly.
