YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" is no stranger to hosting viral competitions involving his fans. This time, there was some serious money on the line. The streamer revealed that he was going to host a "Whatever You Draw, I'll Buy" competition on Minecraft. This means that the participants were tasked to build whatever they wanted (on the server), and the winner would receive what they would've made.

As it turned out, the winner built a car, more precisely a Nissan GTR (the winner was decided via a fan poll). Watch the clip here:

There was a twist, however, after Darren realized that the car was too expensive (depending on the options, it ranged between $120K to $220K). Later, the streamer gave the winner $20K. He said:

"Would you mind to take $20K rather than me giving you a car?"

The fan responded that they were just glad they could join the game. But when the streamer made them the cash offer, they said:

"Bro, that is life-changing money, bro. I will take that any day, bro. Like, that's crazy. I would take that any day, bro. (After Darren asked, 'So you are cool with $20K?') Dude, I am more than cool with that. That is a blessing, bro. That is so fire, bro. That would be so fire."

Not the first time IShowSpeed has given away money

As mentioned, IShowSpeed is no stranger to hosting spontaneous competitions and has previously given away thousands of dollars to his fans. For instance, during his stream on May 31, 2024, he handed out $2,200 in prize money to whoever performed the best Cristiano Ronaldo celebration.

During an IRL stream (March 19, 2024) in Miami, he met an elderly street-side artist who charged him $30 for a sketch of him and his dog. Impressed, the streamer paid him a whopping $1,000.

The streamer is also generous with fans who request his help in times of trouble. One such occasion was when he encountered a South African fan on Omegle and helped pay his tuition fee.

IShowSpeed has also revealed that he will be traveling to Germany later this month. He said that he has managed to find a place to live in for the next month or so. For those wondering why Germany, it is because the UEFA Euro 2024 is being hosted there.
