"That's actually shocking": MoistCr1TiKaL, Nickmercs, and TimTheTatman react as Dr DisRespect addresses allegations of messaging a minor

After Dr DisRespect shared his side of the story and admitted to sending inappropriate messages while maintaining that no criminal action was done on his part, several prominent Twitch and YouTube streamers like Charlie "MoistCr1TiKaL", Timothy "TimTheTatman", and Nick "Nickmercs" have reacted to his actions.

For those unaware, Guy Beahm, aka Dr DisRespect, recently addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding his permanent Twitch ban from 2020 after a former employee of the Amazon-owned company claimed that he had been removed from the platform for sending inappropriate messages to an underage individual.

Now that Beahm has corroborated the various unnamed sources' story about him messaging a minor, many of his fellow content creators spoke out. Popular YouTuber and Twitch streamer MoistCr1TiKaL called the whole situation "shocking" and called Doc out for saying he did not intend to send inappropriate messages to a minor while doing the opposite.

Comparing the situation to a scenario from Chris Hansen's To Catch a Predator, MoistCr1TiKal stated:

"Holy sh*t that’s actually shocking. Confirming messaging a minor inappropriately but saying there wasn’t any real intent is almost verbatim what people used to say to Chris Hansen"

Dr DisRespect's former friends TimTheTatman and Nickmercs say they cannot support him

Controversial Twitch and Kick streamer Nickmercs, who had previously defended Dr DisRespect when the initial accusations were levied against him has seemingly backtracked after the latter's most recent statement.

Nickmercs claimed his actions were inexcusable and that he could not defend him anymore:

"I read through Doc's tweet and in that very tweet he basically confirms that he was texting an underage girl and it went weird sometimes, you know? And look, just to be blunt and straightforward man, that's inexcusable and unacceptable, right? There is no excuse for something like that, and I can't support it, I can't defend it."

Nickmercs also claimed that he and his friends are "torn" on the issue as they played and streamed video games with Dr DisRespect:

"Look, the boys and I are torn up over it too 'cus we played a lot of games with the guy and it feels a little weird."

Another of Dr DisRespect's friends and fellow FPS streamer on YouTube TimTheTatman has echoed Nickmercs and MoistCr1TiKaL's sentiments in his statement surrounding the whole incident. TimTheTatman stated:

"This is absolutely insane, bro, everything I am seeing. I have known Doc for a while now, we've played games for years, and seeing everything that is spiraling right now is a very difficult thing for me personally and I am sure for a lot of you all out there."

TimTheTatman explained that he would not be able to support Dr DisRespect if he had knowingly messaged a minor inappropriately:

"My bottom line, I think is, if what he is saying where he said that he was messaging a minor and it would sometimes lead to, teeter on inappropriate... if he knew that was a minor and those were the messages being sent, I cannot support that. I can't. I appreciate you all. Beat me up but, this is unfortunate to say the least."

Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has also thrown in his hat and unfollowed Dr DisRespect after reading the latter's statement on X.
