A clip of Andrew Tate denying all allegations while being taken away by the police in Romania has gone viral. This happened hours after news of his house being raided spread on August 21. The controversial online personality has reportedly been detained by the Romanian authorities for 24 hours after new allegations against him and his associates surfaced.
News reports suggest that the authorities detained Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate on suspicion of human trafficking and other criminal charges related to a minor. A video of Andrew being led away in handcuffs and denying the allegations is now doing the rounds on X.
Just before he was taken away in a car, Tate asked the media to review the case and claimed that there was no evidence:
"They are saying I lover-boyed the mother of my children and we tricked them into having kids. Unbelievable! Remember the first time when the media wasn't asking where is the evidence? This is your chance to review it, there is no evidence."

This is not the first time the DIICOT, or the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism, has arrested Andrew Tate and his associates including his elder brother Tristan. The duo was held in jail for several months last year while the agency investigated their involvement in human trafficking and other sex crimes after they were indicted.
They were since released with varying degrees of freedom, and were barred from international travel. That did not stop them from going live on their Rumble account and talking to their community on their controversial talk show Tate Speech.
While Tristan and Andrew Tate have had fewer restrictions for the last few months, DIICOT released a statement about their recent detention on August 21. According to Al Jazeera, new allegations have come up against the two and the Tate brothers have been accused of committing crimes against a minor.
In the video where masked policemen can be seen leading Andrew Tate away after raiding his house, he ridiculed the detention, claiming that the allegations were "stupid":
“This file is even more stupid than the first one. Wait till you see."
After getting into the car with his brother, Andrew further criticized accusations, both the current ones and the ones made before them:
"Guys, the first file, no evidence it was all a lie. Ask them this time where the evidence is. This is the most crazy, they have evidence, they have no proof. They just made up a bunch of sh**! They are lying and they are desperate. This file is more pathetic than the first one."
According to local reports, Andrew Tate and his associates are slated to be under detention for 24 hours before a judge will decide if they should be kept in custody for longer.
