Several prominent internet personalities have commented on the recent controversy involving Twitch streamer Jesse "MOONMOON." For those out of the loop, on September 25, 2024, former esports athlete KingCaffeine took to X to accuse his wife of 15 years, Jillian "DivaJilly," of cheating on him with MOONMOON.
KingCaffeine claimed that DivaJilly, who roleplays the persona of "Siobhan" on the NoPixel GTA 5 RP server, had allegedly been unfaithful to him with MOONMOON "for months." He also shared four pictures of alleged private messages between MOONMOON and DivaJilly, purportedly from TwitchCon.
KingCaffeine wrote:
"It really saddens me that it came to this after months of assuring me it was all 'RP.' I was sold the lie that it was just about sex positivity and girl bossing, when in reality they were just living out their secret fantasies while both being married. I’m sure their rabid fan bases won’t care, but I’m also sure there are plenty of people who will feel vindicated by this, especially those who warn about the dangers of 'ERP.'"
KingCaffeine's post went viral, prompting responses from numerous streamers. YouTube star Rachell "Valkyrae" expressed sympathy for the former Heroes of the Storm pro, stating that "cheating is the most selfish act."
"I'm so sorry this happened to you. Cheating is the most selfish act and they are cowards for this. I hope you take time to heal and are surrounded by humans that treat you with respect," said Valkyrae.
Tyler "Tyler1's" girlfriend Macaiyla believed that "anyone" who roleplays full-time is a "degenerate."
"Anyone who RPs full-time is a degenerate. I literally only think Esfand and possibly Kyle are the exception. Regardless this behavior should not shock anyone. I'm sorry for you," remarked Macaiyla.
IRL Kick streamer Yousef "Fousey" also chimed in with his thoughts.
"Insanity. Don't know you or the story. Glad you're calling it quits ASAP, and not entertaining the thought of you guys staying together. Caught in 4K. God has better waiting for you. Heal well," responded Fousey.
Here are some more pertinent streamer reactions:
"Getting cheated on f**king sucks. Use this energy to be with good companies & self-investment, keep yo head up," replied Twitch streamer JoeyKaotyk.
"Man, those screenshots MAKE ME SICK!!!!," wrote Rust streamer CoconutB.
"Disgusting, sorry man," said GTA RP streamer LAGTVMB.
Has MOONMOON responded to the cheating controversy?
On September 25, 2024, MOONMOON responded to the controversy by claiming that DivaJilly was in an open marriage, adding that he had been separated from his wife for two months. Claiming that he "didn't bother reading" KingCaffeine's posts, the 34-year-old wrote the following on Discord:
"1) Didn't bother reading the dude's post [@KingCaffeine] on Twitter. 2) The chick [DivaJilly] was in an open marriage (his idea not hers). 3) I've been separated from my wife for like two months (she's a nice lady, so be nice)."
MOONMOON also stated that he was unconcerned about the "particulars" of DivaJilly's relationship with KingCaffeine.
