Felix Lengyel, better known as xQc, reacted to Spanish Twitch star El Rubius's new Fortnite skin by joking that the popular Battle Royale game had added them both to the game. For those who don't get it, there is a running joke between the two streamers about how similar they look, with some fans even calling El Rubius the Spanish xQc.
Adding streamers and YouTubers as in-game Icon Skins has been a time-honored tradition for Fortnite, with popular creators such as SypherPK and Ninja having had their Fortnite skins for years at this point. When El Rubius posted screenshots celebrating his in-game skin, xQc replied, joking:

As mentioned, xQc and El Rubius have various physical similarities which the two have acknowledged in their respective streams. A few years ago, the Spanish streamer even pretended to be the Canadian Twitch star while attending TwitchCon.
Their similar builds have also sparked a lot of interest in the community about getting the streamers into a boxing ring. In 2022, El Rubius even challenged xQc to a fight, with the latter seemingly accepting the proposal. However, the two have yet to set a date.
Fortnite skins inspired by streamers are quite popular in the game, and it seems the Spanish star is finally getting one. On September 15, 2024, he took to X and shared photos from the in-game store showcasing the official cosmetic, writing:

This prompted xQc to bring back the joke about how similar the two streamers look and claim that he had also been added to Fortnite. El Rubius was quite happy to continue the joke.
