YouTuber and WWE star Logan Paul is under the cosh once again after a brand new allegation. Yesterday (August 23), a clip from one of Paul's old YouTube videos depicted his dog (Broley) jumping from the ledge of a boat (which was moving) into a lake. Some fans, however, deciphered a hand behind the dog, interpreting it as Logan trying to push or signal the dog to jump.
This led to a flurry of criticism against the YouTuber, to which he responded on X, resharing his pinned comment from the original video:
"We would NEVER, EVER, EVER, push Broley off the boat. he jumped and a hand was behind him, petting him, and when he jumped, we attempted to grab him but FOR A FACT we did not push him."
Now, (August 24), he has responded to the allegations again through a short clip breaking down the earlier video:
"They are trying to say that I pushed my dog off the boat for content, which looks, I know I've done some crazy stuff for content but this accusation is on some serial killer sh*t."
Exploring Logan Paul's defense against the allegations
YouTuber and WWE star Logan Paul is trying his best to defend himself against recent allegations of him pushing his dog from a moving boat. The first point he highlighted was the dog's "body language," stating that the jump was self-willed:
"Watch his body language, his head is straight, and his eyes are locked onto something, Broley is the one who initiated the jump from a pouncing position and his tail remains curled. If he was pushed against his will, he would have been scared and his tail would've been tucked between his legs."
He also dismissed the allegation of the hand seen in the footage being used to push the dog. Logan clarified that the hand was stopping the dog from jumping:
"There are two hands - one on the top of his back, one on his tail to try to prevent him from jumping in but he obviously escaped our grasp."
This, of course, is not the only controversy the YouTuber has faced recently. He is currently embroiled in an ongoing dispute involving one of his unfinished projects, CryptoZoo, which led to investors losing a huge amount of money.
In response, Logan filed a lawsuit against Stephen "Coffeezilla," who was the first to highlight what many are calling a scam.
