Darren "IShowSpeed" is currently on a Southeast Asia tour, which appears to be filled with chaotic moments, as expected from the energetic streamer. Recently, Speed touched down in Malaysia and his stream was relatively tame, with fans bringing him gifts, feeding him traditional cuisine, and showing him around the local market. After a while, the IRL stream became increasingly chaotic.
Soon enough, the number of people surrounding the streamer grew, and he had to shift locations. At one point, Speed took shelter in a hotel, trying to escape a mob of fans, but they followed him inside. Ultimately, he was cornered, virtually trapped inside the building.
While he took a breather, his bodyguards, Henry and Rudiger, along with the help of local staff, fended off the crowd.
IShowSpeed was visibly distraught at the chaos unfolding around him. He was upset with his fanbase for acting out of order and pleaded for them to take a step back and relax:
Bro sabar! Chill out! Sabar!.. F**k bruh! Malaysia, I know y'all lit, but please just let me f**king walk, that's all I ask!
Speed even used the Arabic term, "sabar", meaning patience, which is widely used in Malaysia due to cultural and linguistic overlap in certain regions.
Finally, a path of escape was created and he managed to get outside. When he entered his car, his fans began tapping the windows. Reacting to this, IShowSpeed said:
"Y'all this country is crazy bro, y'all this country is crazy. They broke the camera too? Oh my god bro, nah bro! See chat, this is not how it- no bro! No!.. That's not the way man" (They are getting crazy, you see? They're knocking the doors, knocking the windows!', said IShowSpeed's car driver).
Fans in Malaysia allegedly broke an escalator trying to meet IShowSpeed
After the intensity died down, Speed visited a food court where he had some private space. There, he was told that fans in the area broke an escalator trying to meet him:
"They broke the escalator? ('Look, they're walking up,' said Slipz, Speed's cameraman) They actually broke the escalator. In terms of like craziness, this might be, out of our whole tour, this might be like, number one. I think this is more crazy than the Philippines".
In the Philippines, a visit to a local shop quickly turned chaotic when IShowSpeed's fans gathered around and started meowing as a prank. The crowd’s energy surged when Speed, confused by the joke, was told he was eating cat meat.
Later, he faced off against boxing legend Manny Pacquiao in a friendly sparring match, with a crowd cheering him on.
