YouTube and Twitch streamer Brittany "Cinna" recently won an award at The Streamer Awards 2024, to which her father reacted as part of a broadcast. She won the Sapphire Award which, according to the event's official website, is a special award dedicated to the Best Female/Marginalized Gender Streamer of the Year.
The Streamer Awards website describes it as:
"This award recognizes a streamer who, like a sapphire, is formed against the odds. In an industry where 97% of the top streamers are male, this award is dedicated to streamers who identify as female or a marginalized gender, and have excelled in entertaining at the highest level in 2024."
Cinna's dad was elated upon seeing his daughter receive the award and exclaimed:
"Oh my baby! Oh my God! This is crazy!"
Many users empathized with the clip of Cinna's dad wiping his tears while watching the award ceremony and said it made for an extremely "emotional" moment.

Why did Cinna cry on a call with Twitch streamer AimHigh on her birthday?
Cinna recently had an emotional interaction with long-time friend and fellow content creator Jake "AimHigh" after the latter called her to wish her a happy birthday. She was taken aback by AimHigh's "nice" remarks, which she claimed was uncharacteristic of AimHigh.
However, he justified his unusual demeanor by stating that it was the "special occasion" of her 28th birthday. While talking to Cinna, he also asked her to look forward to The Streamer Awards ceremony with anticipation. This would eventually bear fruit with her Sapphire Award win.
In other news, a clip from the award ceremony went viral. It showcased Rani "Stable Ronaldo" lead Twitch political commentator HasanAbi away from a backdrop featuring the event's sponsors for the latter's interview segment. Before this, Stable Ronaldo had been interviewing other guests on a platform with the sponsor backdrop.
While no official reason has been provided regarding HasanAbi not being allowed to stand next to the sponsors, many speculate that the streamer's controversial political stance is the reason behind companies not wanting to associate with him.
