"This gotta be satire" - KSI saying he showers "once a week", leaves the online community divided

YouTube star JJ "KSI" is known for being vocal about his stances. His ongoing defence of Lunchly has been enough evidence of that. His latest opinion, however, seemed like a rather peculiar one. During the recent episode of Sidecast (Sidemen's official podcast), the YouTuber stated that he doesn't like to shower and labeled it as "boring."

The YouTuber further proposed using aftershave or deodorant to hide one's body odor. This naturally sparked some mixed reactions online. KSI's comments were shared by the popular online news page Drama Alert (@DramaAlert). This garnered several comments, with one user writing:

Another user stated that the YouTuber might smell like cheese if he doesn't shower:

Not all comments were troll-worthy, of course. Some ended up aligning with what KSI said, stating that even they do not shower more than necessary. One user wrote:

KSI has had a turbulent couple of weeks online, launching a series of troll-worthy posts and tirades against DanTDM, who earlier criticized his venture, Lunchly. KSI fans might need to brace for more online discourse following his comments about not believing in showering more than once a week.

Speaking to the Sidecast members about his reluctance to shower, he said:

"I don't like showering. It's just boring. I have to open the shower, to go in. I literally train twice a day, every day, and I have to shower twice?"

Harry "W2S," another Sidemen member present in the podcast episode, had an opposite view about showering, stating that he prefers showering multiple times a day:

"Every time I poo, I go for a shower. I poo twice a day, and then I'll shower in the morning, shower before bed, and sometimes if I am playing a sport, I'll come back and shower."

Despite this, KSI reiterated his stance:

"Surely, once a week is more than enough. All you need to do is deodorant to cover the smell or aftershave."

Josh "Zerkaa" comically responded:

"Don't take financial advice or cleaning advice from JJ (KSI) please."
