Popular Twitch streamer and AMP member Duke Dennis was left dismayed after he was essentially coerced into shifting to New York with the rest of the members of the content group. Duke along with the other AMP members lives in a mansion-sized house in Atlanta. However, yesterday (June 17) was their first day in their new house, which is being labeled as a 'trap house.'
A trap house, for those unaware, is typically referred to as a place that has been left unattended and is used to sell drugs (or engage in other illegal activities). AMP's new house, while not as ramshackle, is nowhere close to their previous residence. Duke Dennis was certainly not too stoked about it. He said:
"That's what they promising me for a month and a half - a big a**, stupid a** penthouse and then I come up here to New York and I'm the same sh*t that Kai (Cenat) and Fanum grew up. The f**k kinda sh*t is this? Look at the chair bro! (shows the poor state of his gaming chair)"
He further added, stating that he doesn't believe this will carry on for too long (indicating that they would return to their Atlanta crib soon):
"I can already tell, this sh*t ain't gonna last long. I grew up in a trap (house) too. But you don't see me, growing back there."
What happened on Day 1 of the AMP 'trap house' in New York?
It's safe to say that Day 1 of the AMP house was as wild as anticipated. One of the viral moments occurred when Din, "Agent 00's" alleged girlfriend, walked in pretending to have a baby. The entire scene was chaotic, but it was eventually revealed that there was no baby at all.
This wasn't the only viral moment. Kai Cenat was also left fuming after a visiting girl threw water at him. In his rage, the streamer even broke one of the house's doors, highlighting that the so-called 'trap house' isn't in the best of shape. Watch the clip here:
It's currently unclear how long the AMP group will live in the New York house. They are, of course, not the only creators there. Twitch streamer Ray "Rayasianboy" has also moved in with them, despite not being formally a member of the group.
