Fortnite streamer Nick Eh 30 has claimed that IShowSpeed faked his recent live stream where the YouTuber jumped over two sports cars. This included his custom CR7 Lamborghini which came at him with some speed. For context, clips of IShowSpeed's live stream dated August 3 went viral on social media, showing the streamer successfully jumping over the sports cars.
However, it seems that Nick Eh 30 did not believe it, and in his recent broadcast claimed that the whole stunt was edited. He even accused IShowSpeed of fake reading the chat to make it seem like it was all done live:
"IShowSpeed just jumped two Lambos in a row? That's all CGI. Um, not CGI but just edited. It's called masking. This is all fake. So, what he was doing was just fake reading chat."
Nick Eh 30 went on to point out alleged discrepancies in the VOD of the stream, claiming IShowSpeed had used exceptional editors to make the stunt look real:
"This is a video that he edited and, where is it— Haha, I am not going to lie, it looks real, he's got good editors for sure. There's no way he is jumping over a car like that. No, bro. How did it get to a stop right there? You know what I mean? It was fake."
Nick Eh 30 explains what masking is while accusing IShowSpeed of faking the stunt
IShowSpeed is known for his athletic abilities. Recently, he streamed with the NFL team Miami Dolphins where he even challenged Tyreek Hill to a race. While the professional footballer denied the streamer's request, the streamer did go viral for another broadcast on the very same day, after he jumped over two sports cars.
The stunt went viral on social media, with clips of the event garnering millions of views on websites like X apart from his YouTube stream. While many reacted with concern at how dangerous the stunt looked, Nick Eh 30 seems to think that IShowSpeed faked it by getting his editors to use masking:
"So what it is guys, it's masking. So what do they do? They film the Lamborghini driving and then they mask it out. Or mask out Speed, so that he is jumping over nothing right now, right? And if you go frame by frame, if it's a really, really well-done mask, if they are really good at editing and they put attention to fine details, you won't see it. But if it's bad, you will see little things around him."
After going over the livestream a couple of times, Nick Eh 30 even claimed that he saw signs of it being an edited video in some parts:
"I think I can see it right there I am not going to lie. Yeah, you kind of see the mask. You see the mask right there. That looks pretty weird to me, look at the mask, look at the mask right here. Look at the bottom of the feet, do you see that? It looks like it's almost connected or glued to the ground. That's a sign of a mask right there."
Nick Eh 30 also congratulated the apparent editors, stating that they had done an outstanding job with the alleged edits:
"I want to see an error in the editing, but it's so well-edited!"
This was not the first time IShowSpeed had jumped over a sports car for content, with a similar clip of him doing it for an Instagram reel going viral a few days ago.
