Former NFL professional Tom Brady recently stated in an Instagram comment that he may help YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" to connect with his idol, Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo. The comment was made by Tom under a clip of the latter two, where IShowSpeed had proposed a potential collaborative livestream involving Brady.

In the comment, Tom Brady tagged IShowSpeed's Instagram handle and stated that he may start a "group chat" involving the YouTube streamer and Cristiano Ronaldo. He wrote:

"@ishowspeed group chat with Cristiano let's make something happen."

Tom Brady proposes a "group chat" involving IShowSpeed and Cristiano Ronaldo

Tom Brady and IShowSpeed had met during the Fanatics Fest, which took place in New York City. The fest featured appearances from major stars of sports and entertainment, such as NFL player Rob Gronkowsk, basketball stars Kevin Durant and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, actor Ben Stiller, and streamers Adin Ross and Louis "LosPollosTV."

Tom Brady was at the event and was actively interacting with the streamers present on the scene. He, along with Rob Gronkowsk, even played football with Adin Ross. After IShowSpeed also ran into Tom Brady during the event, the two began talking.

IShowSpeed then addressed Brady's fans and asked them to push the NFL star to start streaming. He stated:

"What's up with the Tom Brady fans, man... Ay, tell him he needs to start streaming, playing Fortnite, doing IRL streams, shooting passes. IRL stream in New Zealand!... Yes, you need to be streaming, bro!"

IShowSpeed then brought up their common residence in Miami, Florida, and used it as a leeway to propose a possible collaborative stream between the two:

"You live in Miami? Okay, we live in the same city. We're probably 15 minutes away. So, look, we need to be on there and make a YouTube video."

During his Hardcore Minecraft broadcast with Kai Cenat on August 21, 2024, IShowSpeed reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo's recent YouTube channel launch. Ronaldo's subscriber count on the platform rose exponentially after its creation, gaining five million followers within five hours.

After enthusiastically subscribing to the footballer's channel, he once again started prophesizing a potential collaboration with the football star.
