Popular YouTube streamer Darren Watkins Jr, aka IShowSpeed, was quite disappointed with the recent results of the UEFA Euro group stage match after his favorite team Portugal lost by two goals against Georgia. The American content creator has been staying in Germany for the last few days to watch the competition and was present at the match.

After his idol Cristiano Ronaldo's team lost the game, IShowSpeed took to posting a short message on social media through his secondary account on X named @ronaldobetter07 and stated that it was very tough to watch the match:

"such a tough watch"

IShowSpeed had met up with Portuguese footballer Rafael Leão before the match with Georgia

IShowSpeed is a football fan and has been supporting Portugal for years, mostly due to his obsession with Cristiano Ronaldo. The 19-year-old streamer has been IRL streaming from Europe after traveling to Germany earlier this month to watch the Euros and has attended all of their group stage games.

Naturally, he was at the June 26 match against Georgia and as a popular social media personality with millions of fans from around the world, IShowSpeed met up with the Portuguese forward Rafael Leão before the game started. A clip of their interaction even went viral on social media after viewers reposted it on platforms like X.

The two have talked before, with the streamer collaborating with Rafael Leão on FaceTime a few years ago. The two frequently interact on social media as well, which is probably why the AC Milan forward met up with him before the match with Georgia.

However, IShowSpeed's day did not end on a good note as his team Portugal ultimately lost the game. Another clip has surfaced online of the streamer frustratedly leaving the stands after Georgia scored their second goal.

Readers should note that, unlike the previous UEFA Euro games that he had attended, Darren did not livestream the game and all clips are sourced from fans posting them on social media.
