YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" Watkins Jr. has risen to fame through his energetic and hilarious streams. Some of the most sensational live moments that brought him success include bursting firecrackers in his room and diving into his PC setup after reaching subscriber milestones. One such moment was when he accidentally flashed himself live on stream.
Surprisingly, Darren Watkins Sr., IShowSpeed's father, made a whole song about the incident titled 'I Show The Meat' on YouTube. Recently, the content creator's father performed another track based on the incident, with similar lyrics to the first one. He sang it live on YouTube in front of nearly 200 viewers.
Many users on X reacted have to the video. @STM346531451299 suggested that Darren Watkins Sr. is trying to alleviate the severity of his son's incident via his playful songs:
"His dad is trying to change dangerous situations to a joke, and it worked."
@Ishowclipzzz claimed the song might be too much:
"Somebody gotta stop his dad 😭😭"
Others, like @mbsnaz, spoke on the relevance of the 'IShowMeat' meme today:
"The IShowMeat meme is actually still MASSIVE BTW."
@Kalani74486410 mentioned that this isn't the first time the content creator's dad pulled such a stunt:
"Here we go again with another IShowMeat song."
Some, like @Bewhatyoubejr and @Popular_Althea, found it difficult to believe that the man making the song was actually IShowSpeed's father:
"His real dad?"
"Is he his real dad?"
Looking back at IShowSpeed's 'IShowMeat' incident
In August 2023, IShowSpeed's genitals slipped through his boxers in front of 24,000 live viewers as a result of a knee-jerk reaction caused by a jumpscare while he was playing a Five Nights at Freddy's game.
The YouTuber was visibly shocked and embarrassed after what happened and had breakdowns on multiple streams as a result. Viewers would often poke fun at him, calling him "IShowMeat" jokingly.
The content creator's dad turned the moment into a song and even performed his piece live on stream. The name "IShowMeat" caught on like wildfire. Even KSI, the British YouTube megastar, used it while interacting with the 19-year-old in person.
In other news, IShowSpeed has urged his viewers to subscribe to his YouTube channel. This comes after he noticed that Cristiano Ronaldo's YouTube channel had surpassed his own in subscriber count.
