Twitch creator Tobias "Tubbo" has received a ban from Twitch soon after streaming the ongoing Formula 1 British Grand Prix. The race is taking place at Silverstone Circuit in England, and not only did Tubbo receive an invite to the event but also had permission to stream there. Despite this, Twitch seems to have handed him a ban without any specific time duration mentioned.

Netizens have speculated that the creator's decision to stream the live broadcast of the race from a TV at the track instead of the actual race owing to WiFi issues may have led to the copyright strike. The creator took to X to express his dismay at the inability to log in as well as the lack of information regarding the exact duration of the ban. He wrote:

"Mate the ban has no duration I think I may be cooked"

Tubbo has received a ban from Twitch seemingly after trying to stream the F1 race from a TV at the Silverstone Circuit. As per some netizens, the creator had tried to stream the race through the copyright-protected worldwide broadcast being showcased on TV at the event. Apparently, the creator could not broadcast outside due to poor connectivity and had to resort to this alternate method.

The Minecraft creator took to his main and alternate X accounts, @TubboLive and @TubboTWO to showcase the situation from his perspective. He shared with his fans the popup he received when trying to log in, stating that his account had been suspended.

He also showcased the email he had received, which clearly stated:

"Your account is suspended as a result of a DMCA notification"

The creator responded in bafflement, stating:

"I GOT PERMISSION WHAT?!?!?"

Discussing the reason behind the ban, some users went into the specifics of the creator's actions leading up to the ban, trying to figure out what could have triggered the DMCA notification.

Tubbo is not the only prominent personality to recently receive a ban on Twitch, with BruceDropEmOff's alternate account receiving a ban within a short while after Twitch lifted the previous suspension on his channel. This means trouble for the creator because as per Twitch guidelines, the creator can not go live on his main channel until the ban from his alternate channel is removed.
