Alexander "Adapt" and JasonTheWeen, two of FaZe Clan's biggest content creators, have been hit with bans by Twitch on the very last day of the group's special September Subathon event. This event involved the FaZe members streaming every day for twenty-four hours throughout the entire month of September.
This comes just a day after JasonTheWeen became the fourth most subscribed content creator on Twitch, now holding upwards of 88,000 concurrent subscribers. Initially, the pair's channels were inaccessible on the website, and any attempt to open them gave two different error messages. Within an hour of the ban, however, JasonTheWeen was unbanned, while Adapt continues to be banned from the site.
JasonTheWeen and Adapt receive Twitch bans on last day of FaZe's September Subathon event
FaZe's September Subathon has been a major success for the group, with many of its members positioning themselves firmly among the top fifteen most subscribed content creators on Twitch, as per TwitchTracker.com.
JasonTheWeen holds the fourth position on the list of the most subscribed Twitch creators with Max "plaqueboymax" holding sixth place. Meanwhile, Rani "Stable Ronaldo" and Nick "Lacy" stand at the ninth and the eleventh spots respectively.
However, the group's celebrations have seemingly been cut short by the unprecedented bans of the two FaZe creators. While this was JasonTheWeen's first ban on Twitch, it is the fourth time Adapt has been banned from the platform.
Since no direct statement has been put out by either party acknowledging the ban on their social media, fans have been unable to speculate what exactly led to the ban.
Richard "Banks", the CEO of FaZe Clan, recently became the recipient of threats of violence at the hands of the members of the Cuhmunity podcast. This came after Banks extended his support to Adin Ross, who had been beefing with the podcast members over the Kendrick Lamar and Drake drama. While Ross sides with Drake, the Cuhmunity podcast members are staunch supporters of Lamar, leading to the online clash.
