Twitch CEO Dan Clancy was recently invited to fellow streamer and AMP member Din "Agent 00's" IRL (in real life) live stream. During the stream, Clancy was asked about Adin Ross's indefinite ban from the platform. For those unaware, Adin's Twitch account was permanently suspended in February 2023. Despite making attempts to get himself unbanned, Adin has been unsuccessful so far.
Dan Clancy, however, said that he does believe in people getting second chances. This was in reply to Agent 00 asking:
"So everyone is asking 'Free Adin (Ross).' I'm sure you have been asked this before. What's your thoughts on Adin getting unbanned on Twitch?"
The Twitch CEO responded by stating:
"It's best not to talk through it because it gets clipped and then it gets all over the place. So I won't talk about it but I will talk in general terms of indefinite suspensions and people coming back on. I'm a big believer of people being able to get another chance."
"You can apply for reinstatement." - Twitch CEO Dan Clancy speaks on the Adin Ross situation
Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has previously addressed the Adin Ross situation, reiterating his belief in second chances. When discussing streamers who have received indefinite bans, like Adin, Dan said:
"This idea that, 'Oh you messed up and now you can never do that again,' - I'm not a fan of that. So I believe you absolutely need to be able to say, 'Look, yeah I might have been doing this but I'm not doing that anymore.' So that applied to everyone. We've done a lot to allow a process where you can apply for reinstatement."

Dan Clancy also commented on the recent change in content on Adin Ross' stream:
"It's making sure that when we let someone back on, that they are gonna behave in a way on our platform that is consistent with our guidelines. So that's the biggest thing. I've heard a lot of folks say a lot about Adin on how he is evolving his content and changing. So the question is, is that the case?"
Another popular streamer, Kai Cenat, also recently commented on the Adin Ross situation. He mentioned that he hopes to get Adin unbanned by the end of 2023 because he has streams planned in December in which he would like Adin to participate.
