Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has announced that his dad will be joining his IRL stream on June 16, 2024, for Father's Day. Fans are naturally very excited considering the 22-year-old content creator has never had his father on his stream before.
Known for his collaborative streams, Kai has recently been riding the Elden Ring marathon wave that he finished a few weeks ago after the game's developers FromSoftware presented him with a life-sized Malenia statue ahead of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion's release.
With many expecting Kai Cenat to do a second marathon for the DLC, fans have been treated with a surprise announcement about his father being on his stream. In a post on X, the Twitch streamer wrote:

The New York-born streaming sensation of Caribbean descent has been open about his struggles during his childhood, having lived in shelters with his mother after being born in Brooklyn and also in a shelter in Georgia.

During an interview with Complex in 2023, the Twitch star opened up about his relationship with his father, claiming that he has the option of calling him but that he chooses not to. The streamer had stated:
"I could call him but I just choose not to. We don’t have a close connection because my mom’s been there majority of my life."
