Twitch streamer Jeremy Wang, popularly known as "Disguised Toast," has announced a celebrity basketball match that will feature some big names. Among other notable names, the event will feature Canadian actor Simu Liu (most popular for his role in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and Taiwanese-American professional basketball player Jeremy Lin (former NBA player, currently plays for New Taipei Kings).
It remains to be seen if there will be any other creators involved aside from Disguised Toast himself. The event will be livestreamed on Toast's official Twitch channel (2.8 million followers) tomorrow (July 13, 2024). From his post, it looks like the match will be held in Canada.

"You the goat" - Ludwig, Sykkuno, and more react to Disguised Toast's announcement
The popular LA-based streamer has become one of the most well-known figures on Twitch, amassing millions of fans across his social media channels.
He never shies away from taking initiatives, such as when he decided to start his esports gaming team DSG. Naturally, his latest project, a celebrity basketball event, featuring Simu Liu and Jeremy Lin, has garnered quite a bit of attention.
One of Toast's friends and fellow streamer, Ludwig Ahgren, chimed in, expressing his excitement at the announcement:
"That's crazy. U the goat."

Toast, of course, isn't the only streamer who has recently made basketball and celebrity collaborations. Fellow streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" recently uploaded a video of him going 1v1 against NBA star Kevin Durant.
YouTube streamer Ludwig also took on a solo basketball stream, where he challenged himself to shoot 1000 three-pointers. Despite initial challenges, he managed to accomplish it.
