Twitch creator Eric "Erobb221" has been trying his hand, although unsuccessfully, at a "game gauntlet" challenge. To complete the challenge, he has to win a series of matches across 10 different games consecutively. However, each time he loses, his progress is reset and he has to try again from the previously played game. Further, the gauntlet has to be completed within a single stream.
Erobb has been trying to finish it since he devised it during a live broadcast over a week ago, but has been unable to do so. The creator's frustration could be seen in a recent livestream on August 7, 2024, as he rage-quit after losing a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III match. After being egged on by a member of the opposing team, he exclaimed:
"You got f**king lucky. You're trash, you're actually trash! You're trash! Shut up!"
What is Erobb221's Game Gauntlet? Details regarding the ten-game challenge explored
Twitch content creator Erobb221 is known within his fanbase for his "Wheel Spins", where he spins a custom-made wheel that hosts a variety of "punishments" and challenges as its potential outcomes. Afterward, the streamer is forced to fulfill whatever item the marker of the spinning wheel lands on in the end.
While doing one such wheel spin during his livestream from July 26, 2024, Erobb221 came up with the idea of the game gauntlet. The gauntlet includes a variety of games, such as Super Smash Bros., Call of Duty's Search and Destroy mode, Mario Kart, Major League Baseball, League of Legends, Tekken 8, Tetris, Elden Ring, EA FC 24, and GeoGuessr.
Despite over 65 hours of streaming, the content creator has not conquered the challenge. He also encountered other hurdles while trying to complete the challenge, including facing what he claimed were "cheaters" during some of his games and subsequently losing to them.
In April 2024, Erobb221 was part of a feud with a fellow YouTuber and fan, with his copyright striking the latter's videos. Erobb221 had claimed that the YouTuber had tried to "sue" him and also called out netizens for "defending" the individual.
