Twitch political commentator Hasan "HasanAbi" recently addressed his audience after being asked to leave the Democratic National Convention while holding a live broadcast on the fourth and final day of the convention on August 22, 2024. For those unaware, he had attended and streamed himself throughout the four days of the convention, which took place in Chicago.

Taking to his viewers after returning home from the convention, the streamer stated:

"I just got kicked out of the studio space they had given me and it did it in a very weird way, too. They did it during an interview that I was conducting with the New York Times about creators for Kamala, which makes it like, extra crazy..."

HasanAbi gets kicked out during last day of DNC as netizens speculate the reason being his views on Palestinians

Twitch political content creator HasanAbi is known for being an outspoken supporter of the Palestinians affected by the Israel-Gaza war. In 2023, the creator had raised over $1 million in funds aimed at providing medical aid to the Palestinians through a Twitch campaign.

Thus, it comes as no surprise that he did not hold back while sharing his views regarding the representation of "Palestinian casualties" in the DNC as compared to the representation being provided to Israeli victims and families. Streaming from a room allotted to him within the convention, he said:

"In terms of like literally only having Israeli victims and their family members be held into question, while Palestinian and pro-Palestinian people are getting f**king beaten out, okay?... The delegates themselves that dare bring up the Palestinian casualties get f**king booed, they get humiliated, they get kicked aside. It is f**king ridiculous."

Further, he also criticized the Democratic Party regarding the "permission" it has given to "eviscerate" Palestinian families with "American-made bombs":

"But the fact that, after all of the commitment that the democratic party has given to the Israeli government to just basically absolutely eviscerate entire Palestinian families with American-made bombs that they can't even f**king have a Palestinian person, an individual with family members, come and speak in this similar fashion is disgusting to me."

Many netizens since believe that HasanAbi's remarks regarding the Democratic Party and the Palestinians may have played a role in his premature exit from the convention.

X user @Angelica_Reed1 believed that HasanAbi's discussion on the victims' plight may have invited the action from the DNC:

"Hasanabi says something reasonable that emphasizes with the victims and that's their response..."

@CryptoWiick13 believed that HasanAbi was being restricted from forming his "own opinion" on the topic:

"Cant even form ya own opinion now a days."

This is not the only time the content creator has run into trouble during the DNC. On Day 3 of his time at the convention, he became involved in a verbal spat with a man after complimenting his partner's hat. The individual seemed to misunderstand HasanAbi's intentions and criticized him for not participating in protests in favor of the Palestinians, without being aware that the streamer had actively taken part in the previous day's protests.
