Twitch streamer and FaZe Clan member Nick "Lacy" has announced a major collaboration for his ongoing subathon. He claimed that he would do a stream with the 44th U.S. President, Barack Obama. While there have been recent instances of politicians appearing on streamers' broadcasts, fans remain skeptical of Lacy's claims.
Some fans have also recalled the one instance when Twitch streamer Kai Cenat announced a similar collaboration, only to bring out a Barack Obama lookalike. Some fans even accused Lacy of essentially "copying" Kai's past ideas. One user wrote:
"Lacy copying Kai bars for bars."
Another X user shared a similar sentiment.
"Bars for bars"
Back in Kai Cenat's February 2023 subathon stream, he invited the Barack Obama lookalike and ended up playing indoor golf with him. Some fans believe that Lacy might even replicate this:
"Let me guess...indoor golf?"
When and where can fans watch Lacy's alleged stream with Barack Obama?
The FaZe Clan creators are currently participating in a subathon challenge, with several streamers involved, including Rani "Stable Ronaldo," Max "Plaqueboymax," and Jason "Jasontheween." Among them is Lacy, who has claimed a stream with Barack Obama.
The streamer shared a graphic poster on his X.com account, teasing an alleged upcoming stream with the former U.S. President. It is set to take place on September 5 at around 3 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Here's his post:
While Barack Obama is essentially retired and has previously appeared on various shows, such as Jimmy Kimmel's talk show and Between Two Ferns, it seems unlikely at this point that he would appear on Lacy's stream. Fans will have to wait and see the stream's outcome.
Kick streamer Adin Ross previously pulled a similar stunt with his fans by announcing that he was going to stream with Kim Jong Un, the Supreme Leader of North Korea. However, the stream ultimately featured an impersonator.
