During a livestream on June 29, 2024, Twitch streamer Quintin "Quin69" disclosed that he had been banned from League of Legends. During the Just Chatting segment, the content creator expressed frustration with stream snipers ruining his games. He then claimed that a friend offered to queue with him so that he could "avoid" the circumstances.
Quin69 elaborated:
"A friend hits me up, 'Do you want to play games with me? We can probably avoid the snipers.' Riot doesn't do anything. Not a single sniper banned. Literally, the last game I played, I was having a mental boom because the entire game, there were more snipers than actual players in my game. I immediately quit the game and tried something different."

The New Zealander then revealed that his League of Legends account got banned, claiming that he was "mass reported":

Yeah, after the humans looked at it... 'Yeah, you're banned. It's a legit ban. Yeah, I know this isn't the outcome you want, but hey, it is what it is."
