A clip of Twitch streamer yusuf7n went viral on December 3, 2025, in which he claimed that Kick had offered him a deal worth over $500K. The streamer, who has around 240K followers on the Amazon-owned platform, stated that while that money was "good," it was not enough for him to shift to another website.
Since its inception, Kick has offered many Twitch streamers deals to stream on the relatively new platform. Many streamers, such as xQc, Hikaru, Trainwreckstv, and others, have continued to stream on both platforms over the past couple of years. However, it seems that yusuf7n was not interested in the money.
The streamer hinted at the fact that he would have gotten a better deal if he had agreed to gamble on stream. According to him, $500K was not worth leaving Twitch:
"How much? It wasn't as much as it could have been if I gambled, but that sh*t was still... If I'm not doing it, I can still say it, right I guess? On god, may god strike me and my whole family down, over $500K. Which is good, but not enough for me to leave Twitch, bro. On god, it's not."
"I am not moving": Livestreamer yusuf7n claims Twitch is his home and he would never leave it for other platforms like Kick
Over the years, multiple streamers have publicly claimed that Kick had approached them for a deal. Popular Twitch star Kai Cenat went viral in November 2024 after he stated that he had declined a $60 million contract from Kick. That number was later disputed by Trainwreckstv. xQc had also made headlines in 2023 for getting a deal reportedly worth $100 million.
In December 2024, IShowSpeed claimed on a podcast that his team had been in contact with Kick since 2023. However, the Streamer of the Year explained that the negotiations did not go anywhere.
Yusuf7n seems to be yet another streamer who has come forward with a story about rejecting the platform's contract. Just before claiming that he was offered $500K, the Twitch streamer asserted that he would never move from Twitch because it was his home:
"I am not moving from Twitch, bro. It would never happen. I am going to be honest though, chat, I was not lying. Kick did come with a deal not even involving gambling, bro. But I turned it down, because this is my home, bro. Twitch is my f**king home, bro. Twitch is my f**king home."

Many streamers who had once left Twitch for other platforms like YouTube have since returned. Notably, Valkyrae is slated to make a comeback to the purple platform after five years, with a stream on January 8, 2025.
