Twitchcon has started selling tickets for the 2024 rendition of the event taking place in San Diego, California. For those uninitiated, Twitchcon is a semi-annual gaming convention that takes place in locations in North America and Europe, with a focus on the purple live-streaming platform. This year's event will be conducted over three days, from September 20 to September 22.
Those interested in purchasing the tickets can visit the official website, twitchcon.com, and select their preferred option. Packages are being provided with costs ranging from $149 to $329.
What are the packages being offered for Twitchcon San Diego 2024?
Twitchcon allows fans the opportunity to not only meet but also interact with their favorite Twitch creators in meet-and-greets. Those attending the convention can also purchase merchandise and other memorabilia from the event.
The tickets offered on the official website contain an option to purchase a "1-Day pass" for $149-$159, allowing interested candidates to attend one out of the three days of the event. Those wanting more can purchase a "3-day Pass" for $239. This allows entry to the event on all three days.
The website also offers a separate Block Party Pass for $110, which can only be purchased with the original event pass.
The Block Party is an outdoor event hosted by Twitch on the second day of the event, with the availability of multiple food vendors from over 15 participating restaurants, including drinks, various options for music, including a dance stage, karaoke, silent disco, and escape rooms, among other fun activities.
Those looking to save money can purchase the Early Bird Bundle for $329, which includes the 3-Day pass and the Block Party Pass for $20 less than the original price. However, this offer is time-limited and expires on June 12, 2024, at 11:59 pm Pacific Time or June 13, at 2:59 am Eastern Standard Time.
This year's event is set to host some big names, such as EsfandTV, ExtraEmily, ironmouse, Mizkif, QTCinderella, and willneff, among many other creators.
In a recent IRL stream, CEO Dan Clancy turned down the possibility of hosting such an event in Asia. He stated that the reason behind not being able to organize an event in a city like Melbourne or Tokyo was because of possible low attendance at the event.
