Popular internet personality Rachell "Valkyrae" has announced her return to Twitch. On December 29, 2024, the content creator took to X to announce that she had officially completed her final exclusive streaming contract with YouTube. She then revealed that she would be hosting her comeback stream on Twitch on her birthday, January 8, 2025.

Furthermore, Valkyrae announced that she would be celebrating 10 years of streaming and will be announcing a special marathon:

"After 3 contracts and 5 years later, I've officially completed my last contract streaming exclusively on YouTube (Face hold back tears and party popper emojis). I'll be doing my first stream on Twitch on my birthday, January 8th! Celebrating 10 years of streaming as well as a special marathon announcement. See you then (Heart emoji)."

Several popular streamers have reacted to Valkyrae's recent announcement, with YouTuber Ludwig asking why the 32-year-old did not consider simultaneously broadcasting on multiple platforms:

"LMAO, why don't you just multistream?"

Valkyrae's response was:

"What's that? (Slightly smiling face emoji)"

Twitch star Imane "Pokimane" expressed her delight, writing:

In response, the 100 Thieves co-owner hinted at a potential collaboration:
