YouTube Gaming star Rachell "Valkyrae" has garnered attention on social media after The Streamer Awards featured a questionable video to highlight her nomination. For those unaware, Twitch streamer Blaire "QTCinderella's" annual award ceremony, The Streamer Awards, officially announced nominees for all categories during a livestream on November 11, 2024.
At one point, QTCinderella revealed The Saphire Award nominees, which included Valkyrae, Emily "ExtraEmily," Brittany "Cinna," MissMikkaa, and Ironmouse.
The awards function then showcased the following video to reveal the 100 Thieves co-owner's nomination, in which she was heard saying the following:
"Oh, yeah. Nah, if I swapped bodies with a dude, the first thing I'm doing is mast**bating, and I'm also going to stick my d**k in various substances just to know what it is like. If I got one day to do it, I've got to figure out. I need to know! Nah, don't act like your answer is any different, you liars! Actual liars. Helicopter, yep!"
Commenting on the choice of the video, QTCinderella said:
"All right! Rae is going to be so mad."
On November 12, 2024, Valkyrae responded to the situation, tweeting:

The Sapphire Award, one of 27 categories for this year's The Streamer Awards, honours the "best female/marginalized gender streamer" of the year. The official website for The Streamer Awards provides the following information about this category:
"Best Female / Marginalized Gender Streamer of the Year. This award recognizes a streamer who, like a sapphire, is formed against the odds. In an industry where 97% of the top streamers are male, this award is dedicated to streamers who identify as female or a marginalized gender, and have excelled in entertaining at the highest level in 2024."
In response to being nominated for The Sapphire Award, Valkyrae expressed gratitude, as well as confusion. She wrote:

Furthermore, the 32-year-old urged her followers not to watch the video that The Streamer Awards 2024 showcased:
