VTuber community calls out Kai Cenat for comparing Ironmouse to AI while praising her for breaking the Twitch subscriber record

However, the VTuber community has noted how Kai compared her with AI in a clip that has gone viral on social media.

In the clip shared by X user @scubaryan_, Kai Cenat notes how Ironmouse has been a powerhouse on Twitch and that he has had to surpass her streaming numbers. However, despite praising her, he compared Ironmouse with AI, which has ruffled some feathers in the VTuber community.

Twitch streamer and VTuber Serotina noted how there's a misconception about virtual avatars and claimed people would hate VTubers less if they knew about the amount of hard work that goes into the craft.

"Love the respect towards Ironmouse but man someone REALLY needs to teach Kai Cenat that vtubers =/= AI. I wish more people understood how much work goes into the design, art, cutting, rigging, AND tracking process that goes behind a vtuber model…maybe we’d finally get less hate," wrote @SerotinaVT.
