Wake Wilder calls Knut "thoughtless" after Norwegian bodybuilder accuses HasanAbi of "openly supporting terrorism"

Twitch streamer Hasan Piker aka "HasanAbi" has faced quite a bit of backlash lately. The streamer is known for having a far-left political stance. While he has been praised for raising his voice for several issues, recently, he has also faced flak over alleged "anti-semitism." Ethan Klein is one of the creators who has called him out over his statements.

It appears that fellow Twitch streamer and bodybuilder Knut had some critical remarks as well. For context, some of the Iron Forge Gym's members (Matthew "Mizkif" and Wake Wilder) were discussing Hasan's recent political standpoint. The Norwegian strongman chimed in by accusing him of "supporting terrorism." He said:

"He openly supports terrorism. They are just holding back because they don't want to get in trouble and they know him."

Wake Wilder, another Twitch streamer associated with OTK, responded:

"The sh*t that comes out of your mouth is so thoughtless sometimes."

Knut responded:

"This is the reality."

What is the recent controversy involving HasanAbi?

HasanAbi is among the most prominent political commentators on Twitch. Despite his huge following, he has often faced significant backlash for his remarks. For example, U.S. Congressman Ritchie Torres recently criticized Hasan, sharing a clip of one of his statements related to the sexual violence on October 7:

"The leading streamer on Twitch, Hasan Piker, is an apologist for the sexual violence of October 7th."

He further accused HasanAbi of "antisemitism." He said:

"A social media influencer who openly defends the rape and mass murder of Jews is not only accepted but celebrated in our society. What does that reveal about the depth of antisemitism in the American soul? If America believes Jewish lives matter, then Americans should stop popularizing influencers who popularize antisemitism."

Hila Klein, one of the co-hosts of the H3 Podcast, has also voiced criticism toward Hasan over his controversial statements. In a recent episode, she said:

"One personal feeling that I have had with Hasan that I can't get past is his dismissiveness of the rapes that happened. He acts like they didn't happen. Acting like rapes didn't happen. He just chuckles when people bring it up."
