Internet personality Keemstar has debunked viral allegations that MrBeast crew member Karl Jacobs was arrested in connection with controversial content shared on a Telegram group reportedly associated with MrBeast's team. Keemstar emphasized the lack of verified information and directly refuted the claim, stating that the reports which went viral on TikTok, are false.
Rumors of Jacobs’s alleged arrest circulated widely, largely fueled by user "Zachxposts." This user claimed that Jacobs and other MrBeast crew members were involved in a Telegram chat used to distribute explicit images. According to Zachxposts, this group allegedly included Jacobs, Ava Kris Tyson, and potentially MrBeast himself.
However, no official sources confirm these claims, and they appear to be based on unverified speculation from social media.
Keemstar, a prominent internet commentator and owner of DramaAlert, has addressed and debunked these rumors, emphasizing the lack of verified information supporting Jacobs’s involvement in any criminal activity:
"I can confirm this TikTok with millions of views & a quarter of 1 million likes is literally false."
"Stop lying about him and his company": Keemstar calls out fake Karl Jacobs arrest rumor, defends MrBeast and team
Karl Jacobs has typically maintained a family-friendly appearance online. He gained popularity through his appearances on MrBeast’s channel, maintaining a broad appeal with content suitable for all ages. Karl also streams on Twitch and is part of the Dream SMP Minecraft server, where he typically keeps his language and content appropriate for younger audiences.
Keemstar has called out these rumors as baseless and possibly a deliberate attempt to smear Jacobs and the MrBeast team, highlighting the damaging effect of such viral misinformation:
"If you’re sick of calling me a MrBeast D Rider then STOP LYING ABOUT HIM AND HIS COMPANY. Every day it’s a new false claim with millions of views."
In the viral TikTok, Zachxposts claimed a Telegram group chat featuring core MrBeast members was used to share explicit images of children:
"This is after all these videos have been going viral of the whole group chat of them leaking CP images on Telegram. Karl was involved, Kris was involved, we're kinda debating whether Jimmy was involved or not, but it is proven that Chandler was not involved."
The allegations follow other controversies surrounding the MrBeast brand. Earlier this year, Ava Kris Tyson faced criticism for allegedly possessing artwork from a controversial artist. Separately, YouTuber Rosanna Pansino, speaking for those affected by MrBeast controversies, recently tweeted that she had raised concerns with the FBI about the alleged Telegram group activity.
Despite the intensifying scrutiny, Karl Jacobs and his team have remained silent on these specific rumors, while Keemstar remains one of the few public figures vocal in their defense.
In related news, MrBeast recently released the findings of an investigation he conducted on his company amidst all the controversies and allegations surrounding his organization.
