Prominent journalist Rod "Slasher" has claimed to have received alleged details related to Herschel "Guy," aka "Dr DisRespect" amid the ongoing controversy. On June 28, 2024, Slasher appeared as a guest on Twitch political streamer Hasan "HasanAbi's" channel, during which he shared information about a DM he received.
According to Slasher, someone living in the Racho Santa Fe area shared a screenshot from their Nextdoor (social networking service) app, in which an individual commented that the "Two-Time Champ" was allegedly in handcuffs.
Slasher said:
"I did get a DM about an hour ago from someone who lives in NCFS, near Rancho Santa Fe. That is the area that Dr DisRespect was in, and he sent me a screenshot from his Nextdoor which is in that area. And, there is a comment - this was from 11 am this morning, so this is before my article came out. There is a comment that says, 'We just saw Dr DisRespect in handcuffs.' He lives right there."
